Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This policy covers the iPhone and iPad apps Flight Deck, Airport Codes Quiz and Airline Tails Quiz (the "apps"), published by Amateurgames1. It explains what information is used when you play and why.

Information we collect

We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or location. Your scores and settings are stored only on your device. If you delete the app, they are deleted too.

In Flight Deck, the pilot callsign you choose, your progress, coins and unlocked aircraft are also kept only on your device.

Game Center

Flight Deck can use Apple's Game Center for leaderboards. If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and Game Center nickname are shared with Apple to show the leaderboards. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We don't receive your Apple ID.

In-app purchases

Flight Deck offers an optional "Remove Ads" purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details.

Notifications

If you allow it, Flight Deck shows a daily streak reminder. These reminders are created on your device and are not sent through any server. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or in your device's Settings.

Advertising

The apps are free and show ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's IP address, device type, operating system, ad interactions and, only if you allow tracking when asked, your device's advertising identifier. Google's use of this information is covered by its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

You can turn off personalised ads at any time in your iPhone's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, Flight Deck asks for your consent using Google's consent form before any ads are loaded. You can change your choice at any time in Flight Deck under Settings > Advert privacy choices. Flight Deck only requests ads that are suitable for a general audience.

This website

amateurgames1.com shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Where the law requires it, you'll be asked for consent before these cookies are used. You can opt out of personalised ads in Google's Ad Settings, and read more in how Google uses cookies in advertising.

Children

The apps are made for a general audience and contain no chat, sharing or social features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
